Camp narrative
The Big Secret
One sunny, bright and happy day at Camp Raglan the teachers started to act suspicious. The year 5s and 6s from PCS had gone to Camp-it was the school’s first “proper” Camp. Everybody had all their sun protection on and they had been hanging out for a swim all day. Eventually they got their swim and it was dinner time.
The teachers all sat together whispering about something but the children just couldn’t guess what it was they were doing. “ Maybe they are aliens from outer space” said Molly who was that friend who was just a little bit “out there” if you get what I mean. “ I don’t think so “ said Willow who didn’t really believe any of that at all. “ Maybe they’re going to send someone home “ Grace mentioned “ that’s much more believable Molly ” Willow gave Molly a look. At bedtime since these girls were in a sleeping group and next to the teachers they could hear the teachers still talking about something but they just could not make out what it was they talking about.
The next day it was their last day at Camp Raglan-or so they thought. The teachers didn’t start packing up and everyone was confused then the teachers went around saying to everyone that there was a surprise at base. Once everyone was outside the teachers announced that they were staying for three more days! All the children were really excited and they lived happily ever after for the next three days then they went home.
Tomorrow we are going on a three day camp at Camp Raglan and everybody is super excited about it. To tie in with that we wrote some narratives about camp. This is my one, enjoy!

The Twits
Character description and my opinion based on The Twits
Mr Twit The Twittiest Twit Ever
Mr Twit has a very ugly appearance, especially his big, long, matted beard. You can see some of the food in it, and the rest must just be a horrific mouldy mess at the back of his beard. I personally think he should really wash it or just shave it off altogether it’s so unhygienic he could probably be dead by now it’s so bad! He seems to like his Wednesday (usually) bird pie, once he tried to put boys in it because he’s so obsessed. He must be as hungry as a horse on Wednesdays. He’s even gone out with Mrs Twit to buy guns to get the birds. He has four pet monkeys too, he makes them stand upside down for hours, his heart is a cold, cold, COLD stone.
Mrs Twit The Haggiest Of The Hags
Mrs Twit and her old glass eye are absolutely DISGUSTING. Once she put it in Mr Twits drink and he drank all of it and almost the eye too. She has a walking stick too, (she just has to hit and swat everything she sees with that one good but not so good eye), even if it’s her husband. She is as ugly as the oldest, scruffiest, wartiest, witch in the world (I would even say uglier) she needs massive PERMANENT plastic surgery. I don’t know how she’s not arrested for just being ugly that’s how atrocious it is. She’s always playing pranks on Mr Twit (and Mr Twit does the same). Mrs and Mr Twit don’t even care about each other, you might think they sound the same and would be a perfect match but NO they basically hate each other! I wonder if they’ll ever get a divorce?I hope you enjoy my character description about The Twits

What I have learnt from making the Cookbook
From making our Cookbook I have learnt, how to work out the costs of everything on a google sheet and how to make an advertisements. We had to make sure everything was correct and how much we would have to sell them for to make a worthwhile profit. My favourite thing about making the Cookbook was helping make the tester brownies and making the extra pages like the authors page.
QR codes
We learnt our to use QR codes to link our work. You can download an app called QR code scanner on any device such as Android or Apple, if you run your scanner over it, it will take you straight to the URL you have linked it to. See where this QR code takes you.

Ginger bread cookies
We are making a cook book to fundraise for camp at the end of the year. We had to choose our favourite recipe and write it onto a doc and then copy it onto a slide that Mrs P shared with us. Then some people made the covers and we put it all together. Here is my recipe.
