Chocolate Glossary

In reading we have been learning about chocolate. One of our activities was to use the words given find out the meaning and make a glossary on google slides.

Manawatu prezi

In reading we had to learn about the big slip in the Manawatu gorge and we had to research and make a prezi and include pictures.

Time management checklist

In room 4 we have been learning about time management. We came up with key points and made them into a checklist in groups of 3 to 4. Then we had to make pictures on Google draw and upload them to a Google doc and write what the picture and the key point means.

Poppies

In reading we learnt about the significance of the poppy and why we wear it. We had to research, put the information into our own words and then make a slide presentation. Did you know the poppy was one of the first flowers to grow back after the war?

Give It A Go Day

Yesterday we had a Give It A Go Day we played lots sports like European Handball, Turbo Touch, Rippa Rugby, Futsal and Ultimate Frisbee. We learnt how to play lots of sports. The day was really fun. My favorites were European Handball and Ultimate Frisbee.

History of Papakura

In reading we've been learning about the history of Papakura. We learnt about what it was like back then and what we have now compared to then. Then we made a slide show about what we had learnt.

Time management

Our presentation is about time management and what looks like. We made this check list to remind us how to manage our time effectively. We worked in a group to produce a slide each about one of our 5 key points which are, proiritise, timeline, do task, check and initiative. Do you manage your time effectively?
